Welcome to the Mayfield Family!  We’re happy to have you!  ^_^

The Mayfields are your average, Sunset Valley dwelling family.  Ellie Mayfield is wife and homemaker.  Bernard Mayfield is her hard-working older husband.  Susan Thompson is Ellie’s ambitious sister.  And they have two toddlers, Chloe and Thomas, two perfectly normal, adorable toddlers.  They all live perfectly normal lives in a perfectly normal neighborhood at 58 Water Lily Lane.

Of course, Susan Thompson is rarely around for her young son, Thomas. And Ellie’s daughter, Chloe, looks nothing like Bernard. And, when asked about his work, Bernard smiles and starts a new conversation, and oh, by the way, have you met the latest member of the family? He has green skin. Oh, no! He’s perfectly fine! *benign smile*

Maybe they’re not so normal after all…

  6. Hi, thank you for adding me to your “suggested reading”, this is very kind. I was just wondering about your categories and came to conclusion that I don’t really fit any, because I don’t write beautifully and overall my story isn’t very optimistic, so not hilarious. And I’m so lost at the moment trying to fit somewhere. Haha, I really should be working on the next chapter at the moment, but my game refused to cooperate, so I came back to make sure there’s no more Mayfields to catch up on XD

    1. So, “beautifully written” is my definition for writers who put real effort into creating their stories. These stories aren’t just observational accounts, they have actual, long term plots and real worlds outside the home lot. The writers put effort into their words, characters, and screenshots, even going so far as to take the time to stage their sims exactly so. I’d say “neverdoitagain” fits in there just fine. 😉

      XD Nope, no more Mayfields yet. When I actually stick to an update schedule, it’s ever other Monday. So next Monday, there’ll be a new chapter. ^_^

            1. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some moments where I just laugh. But for the most part you write a very serious story from interesting angles. I’m actually very curious as to Grace’s traits. I originally thought she was Insane, along with Over-Emotional. But maybe Good and Perfectionist?

            2. Grace’s traits are: bookworm, schmoozer, over-emotional, dramatic and artistic. I was actually playing yesterday and Story Progression made her and Fidelio get together AGAIN. I was like, what was the wrong with you both?

      Life’s been hectic; working 2 jobs, thesis, trying to get my driver’s license; just hectic. I had to give up a lot of hobbies for a while, there just weren’t enough hours in the day. I want to get back into writing, but life’s not quite settled. I haven’t given up on the Mayfields, but I can only write maybe a paragraph every week. It’s slow going.
      But that’s why the radio silence. I haven’t even had time to read other stories!
